Im looking to apply to TCU this upcoming year but I don’t know if I will get in, could y’all comment your stats down below (gpa, ap scores, extra curriculars etc.). Thank you!

good job getting a head start. I just finished my freshmen year at TCU and it has been amazing. I applied with a 4.33 GPA, 1530 SAT, 12 APs, 2 Clubs, some athletics, and also a sibling who had attended. Please don’t take me as a typical case, the average SAT for admitted students was 1245.
While stats can be a preliminary indicator, admissions focus on essay quality and extacurriculars. The Horned Frog Fam has so many awesome people, and they like someone who has unique passions and passion to attend TCU. Perhaps explore tcu.edu a little bit before you answer the short answer “Why TCU?” essay or visit campus when possible. Showcase yourself in the Freedom of Expression page, and trust that you are an individual with a valuable perspective to bring to campus.
