I’m starting to have bad dreams. I’m obsessing over if I will get in or not. What are you guys doing to not obsess over Thursday? And do you think we will find out before 6pm?
@StevieD I honestly feel like there’s no remedy. Lol
@StevieD It’s been an obsession for me as well. Checking my TF status consistently and not seeing any changes. I’ve been trying to keep myself busy. Reading and Netflix binging has helped a lot! And movies! It’s better when I have weak wifi so then I’m not forced to check emails and my app constantly. Also, we’re supposed to find out after 8pm on Thursday. Depending on where we get accepted, I think it’ll vary if we find out early on Thursday! I heard some people get emails from recruiters or regional staff early in the day. But it seems like it varies.

I did the webinar as well. It was really interesting and I learned quite a bit. I can’t wait to see if I am excepted now!

@TFAHopeful2015 the webinar just talked about what happens if you are accepted… Like answering questions that come up about placement. You have to do a quick survey before finding out your placement. You have to talk more to your regional directors about questions specific to the site. Your regional director will be contacting you shortly after you are accepted. Then they talked about summer institute. You will be staying on a college campus, around that time people usually finalize housing in whatever state they are in. Then they began talking about why you can’t change the location of your institute of it’s far from where you are placed. They talked about other things but I had to do other things so I got off. It was super helpful. They answered questions I’m sure you know about if you’ve been researching TFA. I’m just so excited! Tomorrow we find out!!
Hello all! I am a browser and thought I would chime in! I received an email from a Recruitment Associate. Did anyone receive an email like that? I have been so nervous about tomorrow so I do not know whether to take it as a good sign or a bad one… I looked at my Loan request and it says “Under Review” but I do not have a “yes” by my documents like some of you have reported. So I do not know what to think…I just want an answer already haha

I got a message from my recruiter too! Basically she doesn’t know what the answer is but she wishes me the best of luck, etc… I think I remember in past threads that this was a good sign. I haven’t talked to that recruiter since I sent in my application. So I’m not sure.
I forgot to add on here that I am a current corps member of City Year San Antonio if any applicants are rejected, City Year is another great organization fighting against educational inequity!!!

TFA admissions decided to email me saying that I am not receiving my decision tomorrow :\ They want my Fall 2014 grades first before they make a decision so I have to resubmit my official transcript (with my Fall 2014 grades) and then they’ll notify me within two weeks. Bummer. :((( Good luck finding out tomorrow guys!!
