Oh man, it’s so difficult to stay positive as it gets closer to the 19th. I interviewed last Wednesday and I have not had any movement on my TF. Oh well, I may have over analyzed my final interview and thought I did a great job. Dang! Don’t break my heart TFA. plsssss!!! I want you so bad! I know YOU ARE THE ONE! and we’re a great match. lol.
@TFA5thDL2015 I totally understand. I interviewed last Monday, and have not seen nor heard a peep. Let’s stay hopeful!
Omg @TFA5thDL2015 i am right there with you, only i interviewed last friday. I am giving myself two more days of hope before I accept the offer I got from tntp i guess.
BUT I WANT TFA 
When you guys say no movement, does that mean it’s not even switching to Under Review? Also all is not lost, I saw some people in the 2013 Corp board with no change to their TF Status and they still got in!!
Mine says “under review,” but all documents have been verified like a week ago. (I did my interview 2 weeks ago) What confuses me is the line right below my TF status: “We have not yet reviewed your application or documents.” How could they verify my documents if they have not yet looked at my TF application? Does this happen to anyone else?
@MoLoVeMoGrowth and @marydee: From what @aprilmatt1113 said, it seems like we still have a glimpse of hope. crossing my fingers for everyone that we are still inside the loop.
@marydee: that’s awesome! why didn’t you request for an early decision? I think they would’ve approved it knowing that you have a competing offer. otherwise, TNTP sounds like a great alternative from what I’ve read about the program.
@TFA5thDL2015 yeah, i mean i’m excited about it, but it’s definitely not my first choice. it would make for a very difficult transition without the funding, among a bunch of other reasons. and i didn’t request early admission because my decision for them is due like a day after our tfa decisions come out! i was just being dramatic haha.
yeah, i don’t think i’ve lost hope quite yet. it definitely seems like they’ve made headway in approving the transitional funding glitch the past few years! and my interview was a week ago yesterday, so even if it wasn’t i will hold onto hope until the weekend, lol
@marydee: oh haha. phew! good! your deadline is AFTER our TFA notification.
I’ve also told myself to stop checking teachforamerica.org after this Sunday (nearlllly impossible, I know, but I will try). I will, however, continue checking my email in case TFA requires any response from me. hehehe. now, I think i’m also being overly dramatic. wahhh!!! oh yea, I will post this for you…

TNTP is very flexible with extending their deadlines for acceptance. I emailed them about my situation this weekend, and they extended my acceptance deadline from today until the 19th when I will hear back from TFA.

My TF status just went to complete today!
I interviewed on 2/26. On 3/3 I got an email from TFA requesting another document. On the same day, my TF status went to “incomplete”, but the documents I did have went to verified. Today my status went to complete and the document I sent them on 3/3 also went to verified!
I wish they wouldn’t do this to me! Now I am too excited and will feel so cheated if I don’t get in! I mean, why would they spend so much time looking at all my documents if they don’t intend to give me a placement? Ahhhhhh…
I put some random things down as my preferred regions, but I submitted a special circumstances form to be placed in Boston. I’m hoping to teach high school chemistry or math!
Congrats @unicorncat91, that’s usually a great sign on these boards from what it seems. Were you a 5thDLer? My interview wasn’t until March 4th, and I did get an email requesting an additional form, about two days ago, my status only ever changed to Under Review, which is where it is still sitting now.

Oh you know what, i didnt think of it that way. This is probably going based on when we submitted it, not interviews. Duh. I submitted mine very late on the 4th/supe Early on the 5th.

@marydee I submitted mine on the 3rd, about 5 p.m. EST, but they asked for some additional documents that I uploaded on the 9th and then had another question I had to answer just yesterday the 10th, so technically my TF application wasn’t complete until yesterday about 3 or 4 EST.
