I keep reading everyone’s comments about TF. I have nothing to go off of because I didn’t submit mine! January 6th can’t come soon enough. For the other people who picked Dallas (I did too!!)… fingers crossed we will get selected and go to Institute together!!
@ssgradstudent The “under review/incomplete” status and follow up email all relate to the TF application, so you shouldn’t be getting any of those if you didn’t submit it!
To everyone who’s obsessing, my TF status was incomplete when they asked me for more info and then went to under review about a week after I sent in my new document. It’s easier said than done, but try to relax. I tried to keep myself out of the applicant center the last week before notification day. Difficult, but good for my sanity.
Hi everyone, here is an update: My TF documents have been verified with YES next to. Counting down the days…
Top regions are Memphis, DFW, Houston along with few others. Have my mind and heart set on Memphis though.
sorry super late! I am staying with family and keeping active, trying to keep my mind off of TFA…but I’m not super good at it! I’m also one of those people who loves looking at apartments and cars and ‘fake’ planning out my future haha I’ve always been a dreamer!

I submitted my application on the last day of the 3rd deadline…
Then, I had my final interview on the 4th of December. I requested for the early notification, but somehow my application wasn’t submitted…? Anyways, TFA sent me an email on the 19th saying that I was accepted I will be in California Capital Valley. Good luck to everyone!

Break has really helped with anxiety. My top prefs are Dallas, New Orleans, and Memphis… Also @caroconcerta , I’m 27 with a Bachelors & Masters in Macro Social Work. Currently working in the areas of mental health, substance abuse, and developmental disabilities as a care coordinator and therapist. I’m also a weekly volunteer with the local library and an active alumni member of my sorority.
This crossed my mind today…Although our lives feel at a standstill as we wait… We have peace in knowing, one week from today we will be planning the next steps of this journey called life! We’re almost there!

I graduated two years ago with a bachelors in child psych and have been working as a teachers assistant at a high need school until recently when I had to quit because of health issues. But I’ve aways worked in classroom setting so I kinda of want to branch out (what @MoLoveMoGrowth does sounds really interesting too!!) but I also feel comfortable staying in this field…

Hi everyone! I am so happy to have found this forum. I applied 3rd deadline for the TFA 2016 corps. I have been following TFA’s mission for the last few years and really hope I can be a member of this organization to bridge the gap of educational inequity. I am an undergraduate elementary education major at my university. For some info about my Transitional Funding status see below:
- I uploaded 3 documents, 2 have been verified with a "Yes" and the last one says: "N/A" I have seen in the past threads that this may be a good sign but I am not getting my hopes up!
My top choices are NJ and Greater Philadelphia. I am sooo excited for Wednesday!

Hey I’m new to this thread. So in the post interview survey that was sent out, did anyone sign up for the new option where they call you and offer up some regions and you could pick one? If so, has anyone gotten a call yet bc I’m anxiously awaiting mine! It’s prolly a good indication of admittance!
