teacher evaluation form mix-up! HELP

i made a mistake when giving my teachers the forms. i gave each of my teachers a "teacher evaluation 1" form instead of one "1" and one "2". one of the forms has already been sent in, and my other teacher was working on my evaluation today. the only difference between the two is the footnote, on one of them it says "teacher evaluation 1" and the other "teacher evaluation 2". should i get the teacher who has yet to send in my forms rewrite everything on a 2 form, or should i just let it go?

please help, thanks.

let it go. The adcoms are busy, they don't really care which one is "teacher evaluation #1" and which is "teacher evaluation #2." They probably won't even notice. As long as both of them submit a recommendation with a teacher evaluation form, it should be perfectly fine. Don't stress about it

I agree. let it go. Adcoms are much more interested in substance, yet everyone on this board seems to be overly concerned on style. I doubt it will even warrant a mention. Also - the people processing your apps are not the people deciding your fate.

While I'm inclined to agree with the above, your app might not be considered complete (as in, they won't evaluate your app) until both recommendations are processed -- and if they both say "Teacher Evaluation 1," the second one might not be checked off. So I'm not sure. If you can, you might ask your teacher to change it to the second form.

Teacher 2 might be the more inpressive recommendation...you never know

let it go, I mean, what difference do you think it can make?

I want to know what difference you might think it got make, and then when tou think about that, you will see the light

if you are in any way worried, point it out to the teacher who will then take a pen, ad scratch out the # 1 and write in the # 2

that solves the whole problem and will make NO DIFFERENCE to the adcom people

the teacher does not need to rewrite a whole form that is a waste of paper and time, just point out your error and they will change the #

egad, how dense are we

but the problem with just scratching things out is that it will be photocopied onto every single application that i hand in, because this is the common app evaluation form. so... that may not be so nice... i think i'll just give the college a call tmr morning and ask. should be fine.
