<p>Does anyone know whether teachers are supposed to upload a scan of a recommendation with a signature or just a Word file?</p>
<p>I am an international applicant and my teachers keep asking me what to do...</p>
<p>Since the teacher has to use their own login ID to receive the online request for an eval, they should just be able to upload the Word file. No scan is necessary, but if it allows you to do that, that would be acceptable, too. If they can do it online, that is easiest. If for some reason they can’t do it online or their document is incompatible with the commonapp tool, you can also print out the teacher evaluation PDF and provide that for the teacher, along with a stamped, addressed envelop for each school that the evaluation needs to be sent.</p>
