<p>So, one of my teachers wrote me a letter of recommendation...but I'm pretty sure that she did not use the Common App school forms, mostly because I never gave them to her myself. I went to ask her about them, and she said that she had already given the letter to my guidance counselor. So...what can be done about that, if anything? Would schools still accept it?</p>
<p>for my rec letters, i chose not to use anything from the common app.
i gave my teacher a fully addressed and stamped envelope for each of my 10 schools.
he then put the letter in each and sent them directly to the college.
in your case, i might do what i did, JUST IN CASE. it would be terrible to have a problem down the road simply due to a letter being misplaced.</p>
