Teacher Recommendation question

Do we ask the teachers to write out their recommendation again and again or do we send photocopies??Or is it better for them to just type it out an sign at the end?

as far as I know your school sends letter of recommendations to colleges

my teachers wrote one hard copy, and photocopied the pages, and then kept the original copy in their file in case I wanted another common app recommendation.

I just asked them I needed X copies so I told them to print out X copies and then they would sign them all. I did this for letters of rec, the common app papers and transcripts. Copies of official papers don’t look as “official” haha.

Okay! Thanks for the info :)

High schools different policies, but I’m sure you’ll find out in the fall. (E.g., DS#1’s school requested you give them addressed, stamped envelopes for every school you were applying to–a set for the guidance counselor and a set for every teacher sending in a recommendation. DS#2 is in a private school with access to Naviance, so it’ll all be done electronically.)

How about the teacher evaluations? They are different for each college right? So we just hand the bunch to the teacher? And do we have to give them to the same teacher as the one who did the rec,or can it be anyone of them?
