I submitted my application for early action in October and my counselor recommendation made it in on time, however, my teacher recommendation never made it. I waited because I thought it hadn't been processed but then december came and It still wasnt there. I called to the admissions office last week and asked and she said that they never received it and that I could resend it.

Would the missing teacher recommendation mean my app would be moved to regular decision? Has anyone experienced this? The admissions representative was unclear on whether or not I'd still be eligible for early action admissions even with my teacher recommendation not there before their winter break

Your screwed. All application material must be post marked by the priority deadline (November 1). It is strongly recommended that recommendations by counselors and teachers be submitted through the online application process. Sorry

If your teacher submitted it online she may have a record of it (confirmation email). Ask her to contact the admissions office and explain that she sent it but it was not received. Not sure if they will accept it or not but it is worth a shot.

Are you an in-state applicant who had to apply through naviance? This happened to some people. On the applicant page at the top it could say not received but if you scroll down, it should say “offline rec - received.” Did you check that? If the admissions themselves said they did not receive, you may be out of luck but just check the site again.

I’m an in state applicant, but I didn’t use naviance. I checked the offline status but that says not received. I’ll probably end up being put on reg decision with hopes that the second recommendation actually makes it there
