Teacher Recommendation

Im applying to several schools as a transfer so how does the process work. Each application has different questions for the teacher rec but on the most part its really similiar. Do you just ask for a letter or give them the actual application form. Am i suppose to give him all the applications and expect him to write the same thinkg over and over? Or does the teacher just write one and you can attach that to all your applications?

either/or i think. My schools had just a quick 'cover letter' with like multiple choice questions, then had a part for the actual written recommendation. I had the teachers fill out the individual cover letter for each school, but then write a generic written recommendation to attach to each one

ahh i see, im applying to about 6 schools are all have different recommendation forms. Im not sure what to do. Should I make my own generic recommendation and send that in to all the schools?

or is there any site that has a Universal Transfer Recommendation Form?

how much time before you want to send in your application are you supposed to ask a professor for a recommendation?

ask him asap because to write something about you, he has to remember you, otherwise he wont have much good to say.
