<p>UMD finally received my counselor recommendation last week, they're still isn't a check mark next to my teacher recommendation. I submitted my application 11/31 for their priority. Is it normal for it to be this slow? I also emailed them and they said that they were in the process of matching everything up. Many of my friends who submitted their applications around the same time was I did already have check marks for everything on their status page.</p>
<p>I believe the process of matching up is done by last name and area...so if you're last name is thrown in a different group than your friends it would explain.</p>
<p>Don't worry the check mark will show up...as long as they have it you're fine the check mark is just for you as verification/reminder</p>
