I what your opinion on my situation and what I should probably do

I want to study engineering, but I do not know which rec I should use. I have one from a history teacher and one from a math teacher, but I got a higher grade in the history class. (Therefore I think it should be a little better)

A good recommendation has nothing to do with your grade (Unless you got below a B). Which one could actually write something about you that will actually tell the adcoms something about you?

Some engineering schools actually require recommendations from a math/science teacher. Columbia’s Fu Foundation School of Engineering is an example.

As for other schools, I recommend going specifically on the website to find the most accurate information.
