On the Navy forum I heard someone say your teacher recommendations for the academy had to be filled out by your junior year teachers. Is this true for USAFA? This worries me a little due to a horrid math teacher who probably really wouldn’t care less about my future/ take it seriously.

For the Naval Academy, math and english teacher recommendations are required from either your junior or senior year. For the Air Force Academy, three recommendations are required from 11th or 12th grade-english, math and either chemistry or physics.

If you hae already graduated, do you have to go hunt down your teachers or do they have to be college teachers? I would actually prefer my HS school teachers since some of the college ones i have dont seem all the interested and wouldnt write a steller rec like the ones from HS did...

My understanding is that the school officials' evaluations are still obtained from your 11th and/or 12th grade teachers, but transcripts are required from your high school and college.
