teacher recs quagmire!!

<p>I'm applying for a science/engineering major but I did not get to know my math and science teachers very well as opposed to my humanities teachers.</p>

<p>I want to ask:
AP English teacher (1 year but very close to)
AP Italian teacher (3 years and very close to)
science research mentor</p>

<p>However, I assume that for engineering majors they want recommenders who can comment on my math/science abilities. I have 2 math teachers who have given me A+s in the subject but don't know me very well.</p>

<p>OR</p>

<p>My other option is:
10th/11th grade math teacher (don't know me outside of grades)
AP English/AP Italian teacher
science research mentor</p>

<p>OR</p>

<p>science research teacher who LOVES me...
AP English/AP Italian teacher
science research mentor</p>

<p>but then I have too many recs commenting on my research rather than my academic skills.</p>

<p>Which option should I choose?</p>

<p>Why not just the science research teacher and the AP English/AP Italian teacher? Anyway, ask the people who would write you the best recommendation letters. I can’t figure that one out for you.</p>
