<p>Is it true that U of I does not require (nor accept) teacher recommendations for admission?</p>
<p>teacher recs are pointless. i dont remember sending in any to them, so im pretty sure they arent required.</p>

<p>When I visited last summer, the admissions speaker actually told us NOT to send them.</p>
<p>UIUC does not rely on them even if submitted.</p>
