Teacher's Assistant (TA) as a junior?

I'm currently taking AP Spanish, AP Biology, Pre-Calculus, APUSH, and Honors English. I have 5 classes, but I want to drop my sport to do TA instead. Will this look bad at all even though I still have the full 5 classes and got straight A's (4.7 gpa)?

The thing about ECs is that one isnt better than the other. Admissions counselors dont really value one club as being better than the other. However, they do value clubs that pertain to a students interests. So if you think being a TA represents your interests more than being an athlete, by all means do that.

I fully agree with sloth83 but would like to add that sometimes a persistence in an area of interest shows you in a more favorable light. If you truly like TA much better than the sport, then by all means, go ahead. However, if you’re just on the edge, I say stick with the sport.

Chance back please?

TA in a college? Or a high school?

Also TA in what subject? Or a general TA? Are you interested in education? What sports do you have right now?
