How early did you submit your application? I believe if you submit credentials before your app they could have them but need to match them with your app.

If they haven’t contacted you theres a good chance they might have it. They prioritize telling you if your app is INcomplete. So no news can be good news in this case.

No one on CC seems to realize that application deadlines (except in rare cases such as Stanford) are NOT strict. A whole application could be submitted up to 2 weeks late with NO penalty. Admissions commitees do not begin reviewing apps until a few weeks after the deadline to give time for processing and lost/late submissions. This is coming straight from a dean of admissions at a top 10 school… If you’re worried about it, have your teachers send them again.

i think stanford is not that dicky about it. i called to check and they said they havent even finished putting things together…theyll let u know about anything missing.

True, but I was under the impression that the common app and supplement MUST be in by the deadline to be considered by Stanford. Other stuff can come in later, but at most schools everything can be late with no repercussions.

oh. i thought the same for all schools. common app + supp must be in by the deadline especially since it can be online. But i guess i was just talking about the extra junk that u have minor control over. transcripts blaablhaa

I experienced this during my applications as well. One of my profs. recommendation letters was sent out the 30th of Jan. I found out in early March my schools had not received anything as yet. One school gave me their fax number and said he could fax it, the other two said to just snail mail it again. Needless to say this was quite stressful for me as I had everything else in on time. THe two schools that it was snail mailed to only got them on the 17th and 18th of March! Decisions go out tomorrow and the 1st of April for those schools. I have no idea if my applications were even read. Its very worrisome that nobody from either school notified me that these had still not arrived. I got into the school my prof. faxed my recommendation to, and thankfully, it’s become my first choice over the past month, so if my apps were not reviewed I won’t be totally left out to dry.
