technological possetions

Hopefully in a year and a half i will happily on my way to drexel. But what am i supposed to do with my home computer? I have a laptop that was issues by my high school and is not that good. I do all of my work on my home desktop and I would like to take it to college with me (along with my playstation). Would you say that it would be a good idea to bring them along with me? I'd hate for all that money I spent on them to go to waste but I dont want to bring them along if they are going to be vandalized or stolen. would you say that your possessions are safe in the dorms? Or is there even room for a desktop computer with a 23'' screen?

i know many people who brought desktops to their dorm rooms, it will be no problem at all. You really don’t need a laptop at school, its juts very helpful sometimes. In fact, at the library you can even take out laptops to use. They also won’t get vandelized or stolen… I’ve never heard of that before, but obviously you’d want to take precautions like locking your door when you leave your room. Most of your posessions are safe in the dorms, sure there are those instances of peoples stuff disappearing, but its always because of their own negligence.
