I would suggest non-partisan; that way, more people will join. And if more people join, then the club can do more stuff. One the challenges I face as president of my school's recycling club is that not enough people join--and of the few that join, even fewer show up for meetings, and so nothing ever gets accomplished.

if you really want to get in, you have to think of yourself as a product, and you are your marketer.
who are you selling yourself to? an admissions committee officer who is likely 22-30 who has their job because they like it and not for the money. also, think of where this person lives: NJ, CT, NYC, PA, NH, MA etc...

now, what are the odds that the person looking at your app is a republican...

im not saying dont make a political group, just maybe call it something else

dlesk, do you have any ideas for a name for the club? Do you really think a Republican political group would put a sour taste in an adcom's mouth?

NY_Democrat: your opinion has a lot of depth to it as well. You guys are really confusing me now!

Could you guys chance me? (And anybody else please!)

Republicans Club will bring fascists, and the commies go to Democrats Club. JSA lets you debate with none of the extremes there, because they would be verbally crushed by any intelligent nonpartisan or independent. Also, when you are in a group that has similar ideas, you are less likely to learn anything, as you feel that you already know what's going on.
