Teeny weeny question!

Umm..I was wondering if you can apply to two colleges at the same time for NYU. for ex, in many other applications, you can rank the order of importance of the colleges you are interested in applying to...is it possible for NYU as well, for my first choice is Stern, but I want to apply to CAS as well..as a second choice?

thank you for the help!!

You're only allowed to apply to one, and if you get rejected you can't reapply to another.

Allright! thank you!

IF you have doubts because your numbers are on the low side...your best bet may be to apply to CAS and if you get in..pull a VERY high GPA for a semester or two and then attempt an internal transfer...it may give you a better shot than applying to Stern directly... it's not going to be a high percentage shot but better than no shot...

I was thinking the same...the thing is I have low score on my SAT...but I am in the top 1% of my class..and I am currently doing the IB Diploma program with Economics, Business and Management, Math and Biology at the Higher Level...my predicted grades are very very strong...so, I am just confused.

go for stern. Colleges seem to like a very high gpa over a high sat score (as long as it is higher than 1320)

HIgher than 1320? To get into Stern, she would need higher than that I think, it's much more competitive than CAS... but you never know.

Oh...doh..yeah...HIGHER than 1320, definitely.... ;-)

is a 97avg and a 1320 good enough to get into cas or gsp

I scored a 1980 in SAT I and 700 in Biology and 700 in Math II.

apply directly to stern. internal transfers are haaaard.

Mmm...right, thats what I am doing. I really want to do the business program. Just sending my application and I hope everything goes well!

Thank you for all the help and suggestions!
