Tele-BEARs problem - double counts classes

I have one class for Phase 1, but it says that I have 8 units. This is ridiculous since I'm only signed up for one 4-unit econ class. When I try to add another class, it forbids it saying that there are too many units.

I assume the system perceives this as me trying to make a total of 12 units on Phase 1, while the maximum is 10.5. It's basically counting a class that doesn't exist.

Basically as best as I can tell its a bug, and only way I can think of trying to solve it is going to the Registrar next Monday. Any other ideas?

sure you don’t have any waitlists?

Otherwise, since I read reports of bearfacts issues there may be some technology issue that is delivering incorrect data about students. One of the fields carried for you in telebears is currently enrolled units - that is the number that telebears uses to enforce caps such as 10.5 units in phase I. Maybe wait a day and check again.

No, no wait lists.

Hopefully it’s just a temporary technical glitch.
