<p>I think after a certain point, the telebears time slots start to matter less – i mean it’s not like all the spots during Phase I (once you approach like the first week of each phase) will be filled up, and it’s not like you can wait until Phase II to sign up for classes in high demand. It’s just useless to get say 4/13 versus 4/14.</p>
<p>Anyway, freshman with senior standing, Phase I on 4/20. AP exams + community college classes ftw :)</p>

<p>8s - are you declared IB or MCB? makes a big difference. Not a great slot for high demand classes.</p>
<p>Well if your looking for lecture and not lab than I’m pretty sure you can get into 131. Carlson is teaching it and not Diamond, which IMO will be a big enough factor that it wont fill up super fast. Not saying you can Phase 2 it, but I think you have a good chance of getting in.</p>

I waitlisted for econ 1 during phase II before my first year at Cal. #85 and still got in. I think you’ll be fine.</p>
