I want to take both PMB 13 and Psych 2 next semester and will have space to put one in phase 1 and the other in phase 2. PMB 13 conflicts with one of the Psych lectures (the one filling up slower), but both PMB 13 lecture and the Psych lecture that fits my schedule are filled up at about the same rate. I am pre-Haas and neither of these are pre-reqs, simply breadth. Actually, I am thinking of minoring in Psych, but I am not at all sure. Which should I phase 1?

there is no psych minor…

Given that you’re pre-Haas, I’m going to assume you’re an underclassmen. This means that you’ll have lower priority for Psych 2, which is intended for upperclassmen. As a result, you may be initially placed on the waitlist. As a result, you may want to phase 1 PMB 13 to ensure you get at least one of the 2 classes, and then try to phase 2 Psych 2, get past the waitlist, and also have a backup class in case it doesn’t work out.

Alternatively, the riskier option would be to Phase 1 Psych 2 to give yourself the best chance of getting into the class. This may backfire and also leave you without a spot in PMB 13 in phase 2.

Is PMB 13 that popular? I was thinking of p2ing it!
