Hi, I've done just about every bit of research on these five colleges I'm interested in: NYU, UC Irvine, Georgetown University, Villanova, and Carnegie Mellon. What I DON'T have information about is an HONEST evaluation of what these colleges are like in terms of environment, student life, and the overall social atmosphere.

If you have the time, and if you're a student at one of these colleges, could you please tell me what you like and/or dislike about the school you go to?

Whoa, why's Irvine just thrown in there? I mean its not a bad school, by any stretch, but its not on par with the other four. Are you a resident of California? Why not UCLA/Berk/UCSD? Sry, can't help too much, I was accepted to Gtown SFS EA this year, but can't comment on it yet. UCLA was my second choice.

It depends what you are interested in... Carnegie Mellon ranges from an easy to get in School of Humanities and General Studies to a very competitive Computer Science program... Georgetown... the same... although the four school have acceptance rates within a few percentages of each other... not to familiar with Villa, and Irvine, and same goes for NYU, which school within NYU?
