...your a dumb ass

if you look closely, you'll see irony waving back at you in that statement.

Why don't you look at some old threads e.g. St. Paul's vs Exeter started by esahopeful95?

ps. I agree with Ivy Grad that your encomium (dumb ass) will not necessarily serve your interest nor likely make for a perfect fit with SPS. Maybe thrash this thread and start again?

Wow............you guys are serious jerks. lol

Seriously.........you are jerks.

I'm not changing what I wrote.

So why don't you start over.

And I don't need someone I don't even know (don't want to know) to tell me where I fit and don't fit.

where's the "LUV"?

As I suggested before, go find the threads started by esahopeful95 and then Private Mail him with your questions. As for the ps--I was trying to help you. This is a public forum, it sometimes is read by admission officers. Why paint yourself as a kid with an attitude? I think that is what Ivy grad was trying to tell you also. Cheers

SPS is one of the best boarding schools in America, if not the best.

In retrospect I feel I failed "boy with luv". The idea was to get him to explore St. Paul's and perhaps mount an application. Thank you prepparent for picking up the ball I dropped.

Go to their website, www.sps.edu, and scan it. The matriculation numbers at elite colleges is phenomenal, and the school's endowment per student is superb. The facilities are as good as you are going to find at any secondary school in the world. It is all boarding, there are no day students. The student body numbers around 500 students. Admissions are insane. To be competitive, a SSAT score of at least 88 percentile is warranted, with 90 percentile being more the norm. The admit rate is about 25%, and the yield is in the 50-60 range.

Beyond the college matriculation numbers, you can receive an unbelievable education there, one that you can draw on for the rest of your life. The connections don't hurt either.

The drawback is the sometimes stuffy nature of the school. Although it is now more ethnically and financially diverse that at any time in its history, it is still largely a WASP, Episcopalian enclave. Of the big time preps though, St. Paul's offers, in my opinion, the best opportunity for a leg up for the middle class student fortunate enough to qualify to attend.

Acceptance rate at SPS this year was 15%. I hope it's as great as everyone says, my daughter is among it's new form.
