<p>Your SAT scores aren't that amazing, and you haven't really won anything in your extracurriculars, just participated, but everything else is solid. Chances threads are pretty dumb since none of us really know what your chances are much better than you do, but I would say you should definitely at least apply.</p>

<p>You can pretty much figure out where you are National Merit wise depending on your score and your state. Also, National Merit doesn´t make you anything special as it is solely score-based and loads of people applying to Brown have semi-finalist status. So sorry to burst your bubble if you thought National Merit is highly esteemed at Brown.</p>
