I think there is an upward trend. Can’t remember my exact grades but I have a few Cs and Ds in math and Chem which were counteracted by my ap classes.

March SAT: 1250, Superscored 1320. Might take it again.
I am working towards my eagle scout award but I wont be able to get it until much after I send my application. I’m considering talking about it in my essays to make sure they know about it. I also did a lot of service in scouts that I will include.

I played hockey for sophomore and junior year and played a bit of varsity in the latter year.

I also confounded a “politics club” with one other person at my high school that works to have meaningful and productive discussions/debates. I started to work to it late junior year and it was formally established this week. Lots of members.

No idea what major or what school to go to. Was thinking Rutgers and CCs because its cheap. Also my dad went to Lafayette in PA, if that will help.

Thanks to anyone who responds.

My son’s GPA and SAT were close to yours, but he had no AP classes. He got into every NJ state school except Rutgers (he didn’t apply there). Depends on what you like- Ramspo and Stockton are smaller and more rural. Rowan has more of a downtown, much bigger but small classes. You likely won’t get any merit money with your scores, though, if that’s an issue. Also, if you’re applying for engineering that will be tough.
Lafayette would be unlikely, but could always be a reach with your legacy. Good luck!
