PurpoisePal -- If you play squash, you may travel to Blair Academy where my son goes. I know they compete with Hackley in squash. Good luck next year!

I didn't tell anyone that I was applying because I feared getting rejected or waitlisted and having to announce my failure to the whole world. The minute I was accepted to Choate, though, I told some friends and they everyone knew within thirty seconds. My classmates are all really going to miss me, but they are all really excited for me to!

I've never played squash, but if I turn out to be good at it, and I get on the team, that would be so cool! :)

Thanks, Burb Parent!

thinkpink, your reasons for not telling anyone were the same as mine. The thing is, though, now that I know, i don't know how to tell everyone. How can I tell my best friends that over the past few months, I've been involved in a semi-rigorous application process and I got in and I'm leaving? I've been going to my school for over ten years. There's no easy way to tell them I'm leaving...

I asked my son; he said everyone thought it was really cool....and everyone new of his school. We live in New England, so people are pretty familiar with all the schools.

He's going to Greenhills in Ann Arbor.
