Telluride Association Summer Program ( TASP ) 2008

The future plans essay is kicking my butt. There is nothing I can possibly say that will not sound contrived. Am seriously considering writing "TASP OR BUST" in size 72 font and leaving it at that.

lol! TASP OR BUST!!!! that sounds hilarious =]

done! now onto revisions! yay!! (not really)

has anyone figured out how to type on the pdf?

why not apply online?

and yeah the future plans one is kicking my butt too.
What is everybody else saying for theirs??

I gave up on learning to type on PDF and just handwrote. Of course now I'm going obsessively slowly because I don't want to have to use white-out. Sigh.

I wrote my problem essay on how evil the meat industry is and now I'm afraid that any meat-eating readers will get offended and reject me. D: Anyone else worried about alienating readers, haha?

idk anything about pdfs, sorryyy

how many books for the book list, about? and what did you write about them? should i be careful not to do plot summary, and just do my reaction to the piece? input, anyone!?

i have nooooo clue what to do for the conflict or issue essays =/

what? I don't think you say anything about the book list besides....a list.

we were supposed to write about them?

for book list i just wrote author and title....
i sort of grouped it into genres, though.

I'm worried that my writing is to condescending/didactic in tone -- i think i was trained to write that way or at least i tend to write that way just because i like debating stuff... arghhh now i have to change the tone.. maybe..

book list = list, definitely.

i'm not writing about the books. i was under the impression it was just a list, but the prompts are pretty vague - so whatever.

Putting "The Complete Book of Witchcraft" on my booklist: yea or nay?

lol, sounds interesting enough! ^
my book list... i just put enough to fill 1 page, even though I don't think that was all the books I read in one year... i just can't remember all of them right now. but if i can't remember them, that probably means i didn't take that much of an interest in them, anyway.

yay done with hw.

time to finsih that FHDGFHDGHFA PROBLEM/TOPIC ESSAY.

i really want to meet all of you at tasp :(

at least you're done w/ homework. here, the hw never ends!
gah, does anybody feel like making a tasp chatroom or something, or would you all much rather just hide your identities? i dont mind if everybody wants to stay private/ etc, but AIM is fun. :P

Cool, i'm done with all except future plans....

of which i only have 2 and a half paragraphs, tiny btw, done.

It sounds so contrived and BS-y

How do you guys all know what you want to do in the future while i have no idea lol

yea, its hard to know what you want to do when you're good at everything, lol

If I'm doing a play for the critnal, do I have to include line numbers when the only format of the play is unnumbered? I REALLY don't want to count line numbers.

AJK, I wouldn't bother. You could use vague directions as to where it is during the scene (near the end, at the climax, as the scene starts, etc.)

I think a chatroom would be interesting. God knows I'd get even less writing done then than I am now, but I'd love some feedback on what I'm writing. It's driving me insane. I've never written anything like these essays in my life.

if four or more people post or PM me, I'll start a chat. hahaha
I'll be there for support if you need!!!

actually, earilmadith, if you want, you can IM me.. PM me with your AIM or something?
