If you’re looking for housing, consider applying to the LLCs. They deadline is the end of April I believe. The LLC’s are housed along with the other freshman and there’s really little difference other than a seminar or 1 credit class you may have to take. Just something to consider.
I applied to the Fox School of Business LLC and was immediately placed into Morgan South, even though there aren’t any rooms left in Morgan North or South (I’m assuming they reserve some for LLC students). I was lucky enough to put a lock on a bed in 1300 beforehand, but glad that I got into the LLC and Morgan!
Also, definitely try calling again. I hadn’t heard anything from Temple until I called, told them my name and TUid, and then got a dull response. I was notified that I had been accepted about a week later! I’ve seen others in this thread who contact get notified shortly after their phone call to the school’s admissions office. Temple DID say they were behind when I called, which was about in early March, but anyone still on hold / still being reviewed is ridiculous…
If housing is overbooked by the time they get accepted, I would definitely suggest applying to an LLC. Temple has the list of LLC’s and descriptions on their website.
Got into Temple Electrical Engineering Program with lots of scholarships, congrats to anyone else who got in
Is there any on campus housing for freshman left? Not sure about committing without housing available.
@Mom2JRx2 maybe the friend applied to a different school/major?
If finances are a serious concern, how about if your son goes to PSU Altoona for the 2+2 program? Then the first two years would be less expensive. And his friend could go to PSU main, and it wouldn’t be far for him to visit.
@12345college as I answered in the thread you started yesterday, yes, you will get something. It may not be your first choice, but you will.
