<p>I've been playing tennis since I was 6, and I've been getting group (and some private lessons) since then. </p>
<p>I'm actually pretty good (especially for a Florida player), but I don't enter many tournaments - I just play for my high school (#1 seed).</p>
<p>Only 3 yrs and not that good -.-' Still love the game though. Everyone watching Wimbledon? Fave player?</p>
<p>I started last year (sophomore year) in high school! I love tennis, and I have really caught on to the game fast! I was undefeated last year--heck yes!!!!!!</p>
<p>I started tennis this year (freshman). It was the first time I played in a LONG time. I'm not really good at it, but I gave it a shot. Sports in general aren't really my thing. </p>
<p>I do find tennis to be a lot of fun though. I probably will do it next year.</p>
<p>4 years, I would have joined the tennis team, but I am already captain of the swim team!</p>
<p>i've been playing about 10 years. over the summer i'm playing at a pretty highly respectable camp where most of the top players in florida play, but i don't play too many tournaments.

<p>Don't know how long I've played tennis, but I started before high school (though not competitively till about 8th grade). Just playing a bit over the summer with friends, then perhaps trying out for the club team at Michigan (I should be borderline for making it, cause a few of my friends who I can beat made it, then again, a few who I can't beat didn't make it, so we'll see). Too lazy/cheap to pay for USTA tournies this summer.</p>

I started at age like 3 (whenever i could walk)..my mom and dad both play but my mom really got me in to the sport..she's my coach, at one point i wanted to get as good as her and play junior wimbledon, but ive given up on that, haha, i want to win state and be a top super..It's my life! haha i love it

<p>I LOVE TENNIS!! I first started playing when I was five but then I stopped and picked it up again when I was around 12 or 13. Since, I've stopped playing due to my busy schedule, but I would jump at any opportunity when I can!</p>
<p>I'LL DEFINITELY BE WATCHING WIMBLEDON, vin09. A lot of you have been playing for a long time. What's stroke is your least favorite? I'm gonna have to say one-handed backstroke, IT'S SO FRUSTRATING AT TIMES. but i still love the game!</p>

when i started i had 2 hands on both sides
then i switched to a 1 hand backhand 2 hand forehand
then i switched to 1 hand on both sides
now, I have normal strokes, 1 hand forehand 2 hand backhand</p>

<p>I LOVE tennis! I took some lessons when I was little, but didn't really start playing consistently until a few years ago. It's become one of my favorite things to do, and I play for my school in the spring and at clubs throughout the summer and winter.</p>
<p>I like tennis, but I can't serve consistently and the idea of following through never really caught on w/ me in any sport...</p>
<p>I play a lot, but it really strains on my elbow so I gotta cut back.</p>
