Terrible sophomore GPA, great Junior GPA

So last year I did really terrible and recieved a 2.75 UW GPA, but i took the hardest course load possible so this still kept my place in the top 15%

If I get a 4.0gpa junior year will i have any shot at johns hopkins? So far im doing very good junior year and Im pretty sure i can do it.

SAT/GPA
~sat 1950 right now, probably be 2100-2050 by the time of applying
~as far as ecs go, i have very focused ecs but not a lot (i'm still working on it) 500 volunteer hours at one hospital, summer volunteer at another hospital 100 hours, part time job 15/hrs a week through the school year and summer, HOSA club, manage my own stock portfolio and run a stock website, and i volunteer for habitat occasionally around ~150 hours

give it a shot - better to know than regret you didn’t try… GL

I have the exact same question!

Freshman year: 3.41 UW
Sophomore year: 3.46 UW

I’m a junior this year and I’m doing pretty well so far; if I were to get a 4.0 UW this year would I still have a chance?

SAT Reasoning: 2200 (aiming for 2300 when I take it in October)
SAT Subject Tests: Math Level 2: 800 (I haven’t taken any others yet but I’m planning to take Bio and US History; pretty confident that I can get 780+)
