terrified for EE decisions on Monday, don't know what to expect

Hi

So I’m a senior right now at a very competitive public school, which is in the top 5 of my state. I did EE for Wellesley, which is my #1 school, and I’m terrified.

GPA: 4.03 Weighted, my school doesn’t report UW. My transcript has been As and Bs throughout. Strong upward trend though.

ACTs: 32 (34E, 32M, 35R, 27S, 36W)

ECs
Latin Club VP and been a member for 4 yrs. Held a state office on state wide latin club
Youth cultural organization member for 7 years, been vice chair for the last 3 yrs.
Played varsity basketball for 2 yrs
Playing club basketball since freshman year consistently
Speech and Debate Team, treasurer
National Latin Honor Society

Work Experience: I work ~20hrs a week.
Community Service: ~1050 hours total in high school <—my pride and joy on my application LOL

Sorry I can’t be more specific with my ECs, it’s for privacy reasons. I filled up all 10 of my activities on the commonapp though. I’ve been doing all my ECs for at least 2 years, many of them all 4.

I’ve taken all honors and APs in highschool

AP Scores:
Euro- 4
Bio- 3
US History - 5
Art - 3
Environmental (self study)- 3

Currently taking 5 APs as a senior. However self studying AP Psych as well.

I applied as Psychology and Political Science.

I have 5 academic awards. National Forensics League degree of excellence for Speech. Multiple awards on National Latin Exam. I’m an AP Scholar w Honor. High School Honor Roll. stuff like that.

@frogdragon118 You sound like an extremely hard worker and a qualified candidate! Nobody can predict how the decision in two days will go, and it’s out of our control at this point anyway. Take some time for yourself and do relaxing things over the weekend. I hope in a couple days we’ll both be able to be excited about our results!

You sound like an incredible applicant who really wants to attend Wellesley. You are competitive in this pool compared to applicants like myself. I have a 3.2 GPA without my mid year report and a 1990 SAT. You are definitely competitive in this pool, so don’t worry about it at all. Don’t be nervous. Whatever happens simply happens. If it’s not Wellesley, it’s going to be a great place that you will attend. You’re probably going to get in. Don’t worry. Worrying does nothing but stress you out. Escape through your school work or relaxing activites.

Hey @frogdragon118! I was accepted through the ED pool, so I was in your shoes not too long ago
You seem to be well rounded, and extremely hardworking. I would be surprised if you didn’t at least get a possible. As long as your essays and recommendations are strong, I think you have nothing to worry about. Hope to see you on campus next year!!
