I am applying to all schools for their acting programs, which means auditions and interviews, which I know I can do well in.

Please help me. I'd be happy to respond to any of your threads.
Thanks.

Emerson College- low match
Ithaca College- match
Hampshire College-slight reach
Bennington College-slight reach
Adelphi University-safety

You don’t think my grades will ruin those schools for me?

sorry, I don’t think hampshire is happening.

I would have a first semester senior year be more like your sophomore year. If your LAC’s have rolling admissions, I would expect you might not hear until after your 7th semester grades are in so they can see if there is a trend down, or if Junior year was a “fluke.” And you could be rescinded for any D’s senior year, so NO SENIORITIS.

If you stress the acting and show a passion for it, as well as talent in the audition/interview stage, I think that could overcome some of the grade.

I’d say your chances are:

Emerson College-match
Ithaca College-match
Hampshire College-high match/low reach
Bennington College-high match
Adelphi University-safety/match

could you chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/739446-chances-colgate-nd-bc.html

Junior year really was a fluke. My entire senior year is going to be study study study so I have high Bs/ As. I’m going to apply as late as I can (most are rolling) so that I have good senior grades on my transcript. No senioritis for me, no way!

Thank you so much everyone, you’ve really made me feel better.
