Test Scores Optional?

<p>I was wondering if you have test scores on your transcript, how do they view that? </p>

<p>Because my school won't take them off my transcript (so basically, ALL my scores go with my transcript of grades and such). So even though I'm not officially sending them and using the test score optional choice, is it going to hurt me that there are low-ish scores there to see on my transcript? </p>

<p>I think it will show an 1180/1800 SAT and 26 act (weakness of my app), I don't even think it will be updated with the higher scores I recently got, by the time I send the transcript out :(</p>

<p>It sucks how even though the scores are 'optional', they're really not, for me. :/
So should I send them in anyways, since they are going to see them anyways?</p>

<p>I wouldn't worry about it. The test scores are really not important whereas the transcript IS really important, it's the most important piece of your application. So if you have to send one in with test scores on it then do it. Seriously, when Smith says "optional" they really mean "optional" meaning, they pay little attention to it.</p>
