Test Scores

Since Providence College is a test optional college. Shold I submit my ACT score of a 25?
I've looked at their records and they indicate that it is right in the middle. Do you think I should submit my scores or do you think it will hurt my chances of getting in?

I would check with your admissions rep on this. Son had SAT’s that equate to a 26 ACT and he did not submit to Providence College as his GPA is really high. My daughter choose to send her scores to a different college after talking with the admissions rep. Her scores were also in the middle for the college that she was applying to. Her GPA was low/average so they thought it would help. They also said that she might qualify for a merit award if she sent her scores. Hope this helps! Good luck! Son is anxious to hear from Providence as his twin sister has already been accepted to her ED school and sent in a deposit! We got really excited last week when he got a big envelope but it was only information.
