<p>Is it true that tech schools prefer the ACT to the SAT?</p>
<p>If you took the less preferred test, would it make a difference in the admission decision?</p>
<p>ACT vs. SAT tends to vary more by region of the country. Nearly every school accepts both and they will simply convert the score in needed. I don't think it hurts anyone's decision.</p>
<p>It shouldn't make a difference, but it's good to take both anyway. Personally, I think the ACT is easier and the science portion of it is ridiculously easy.</p>
