Why all the cloak and dagger stories about secret formulas?

What have we learned in 2003 and 2004 about the SAT? We have learned that ETS/TCB have recycled older tests and reused sections that have appeared in the past. Professional companies, by asking their former students to remember the test and sending employees to take the test, try to rebuild the tests that are not disclosed to the public. Because the test is continually evolving, ETS cannot afford to go back too far in time. So, what is happening is that the chances that a test from 2003 or 2004 will reappear is pretty high.

So what is the secret source of Testmasters' list? Look no further than than the recent undisclosed tests. Does ETS/TCB really care that such lists are floating around? Not in the least ... they could spot you EVERY word on the test and make it so hard that it would be impossible to get 800.

Did it ever occur to any of you that the hardest section is the CR and that they give you the definitions of all the hard words? Knowing the definitions of words is a small part of the SAT. Knowing how to interpret words in context and create links to other words is harder.

Xiggi, just wondering what were the undisclosed tests.

The words on the testmasters list is generally not all that hard, with some exceptions like recalcitrant and promulgation that I didn't know. What other vocab sources can I study from to supplement the list?

Recalcitrant: Marked by stubborn resistance to or defience of authority or guidance.
Promulgation: Public declaration.

Sorry, I am just exercising my memory.

please send it to me very fast ....
