So I am currently a junior in high school, and just took my first SAT, I got a 1740. Not too bad for my first try, I plan on taking a prep course and shooting for at least 2000 the next time I take it, so I’m not too worried about my test scores. I really would like to get into Texas A&Ms aerospace engineering program, but my ECs are a little weak. I live in Chile as an expat and because of that I do a U.S. curriculum online, but I don’t have much of an opportunity to get any ECs. I do attend school with the Chileans to do elective classes, so I guess that in itself could possibly be considered an EC because its not required. But beyond that I don’t get to participate in any kind of student council or anything. I’m just wondering if a 2000 SAT score and a 3.85 unweighted GPA would be enough for me to get in or not, I did see their academic admission procedures but I can’t actually list a class rank so I’m not sure if I would qualify or not, anyone have any ideas/thoughts?
