Whatever happened to individual accountability? It seems like it should be possible to fail people caught cheating and discipline those who were rude. Collective punishment just diffuses responsibility; if everyone is to blame for everything, then no one is.
I don’t see the problem…based on my experience, it looks like this group of students have “executive leadership” written all over it…
I have to admit, I had one senior level class, where the professor called us his “worse” class ever…but we EARNED that title, not by telling him to “chill out” but through pure incompetence! Kids these days…always looking for short cuts.
Probably the professor meant no harm? He just wanted to send a message to the students and the faculty?
