Texas A&M vs. Michigan Ann Arbor. Masters in Industrial Engineering

Hey!

I'm a student from India. I got into both TAMU and Michigan Ann Arbor for my Masters in Industrial Engineering. Now I'm having a hard time deciding which one to go to.

I would love to here your opinion based not only on the academics but the college as a whole.

Which one would be more hectic, which one more fun?

Does Michigan really have such unbearable weather and is Texas really that cold?

Are the job prospects for an Ann Arbor master's student better than a TAMU student's?

I’m assuming you meant the reverse.

Texas A&M is more conservative than UM. Texas weather isn’t as bad as it is made out to be.

Yup. My bad. I meant “is texas really that hot”!
Can you comment on the other aspects of both colleges? Thanks

Michigan is one of the top ten schools in engineering. Texas would be too hot for my kids. I think you’d find a very supportive environment at Michigan.

Thank you so much flymetothemoon! I’m still leaning towards Texas because of how brutal the weather in Michigan can be. (very cold I’ve heard). How is the student body at Ann Arbor? Diverse?
