Texas Grant :)

well i ahve recieved my finAID. but apparently the scholarship is completely separate of the aid report. so where my scholarship would be placed there is a hefty loan. which they said i could just not accept.

but what im worried about is that. when I contacted the financial aid office the lady said that my awards may change when they take into account how much scholarship ive recieved.
I’m really worried now. Could they possibly lower my grant money? I’m really hoping they just stick with how it is because i already accepted the grants, can they change after ive accepted the grants?'

im so stresssed. :C

With a 0 efc, the grants will probably not be affected.

However, if your efc is higher in the future, be aware that any aid that meets need must fit within your need. (Basically, everything except unsubsidized, parent plus, and alternative loans). In that case, to comply with financial aid regulations, the school would be required to adjust your grants.

Total aid (including loans and scholarships) must fit within your budget.
