*LEAP is the G/T program in LISD, been in program since 2nd grade, took 2 years off.

You should be admitted to all of those schools. You should work on getting the GPA up if possible. It appears as if you are a very bright but lazy student with the high SAT and weak GPA. That would kill you at better schools.

Forgot to mention I'm legacy at Baylor(both dad and uncle started on the football team there)

My main concern right now is getting into Texas A and M, as a white, conservative, upper middle class 6th gen Texan(family found a place they liked and never budged), A and M is the public to go to for me. However, due to my laziness combined with the top 10 percent rule, I wonder how much of a shot I really have. Maybe the admissions staff I meet this weekend in Bryan-College Station will help relieve some of these concerns, but any advice and analysis of my stats and chances would help.

Even with the 10% rule, A&M isn't as tough to get into as UT.

A&M is extremely easy to get in. I know kids from my school who got in with lower stats than yours- Don't worry about it.

what about pepperdine? ive heard its a lot easier to get into than its acceptance rate would suggest
