*LEAP is the G/T program in LISD, been in program since 2nd grade, took 2 years off.

pretty much in

even with the 40 percent acceptance rate?

Your PSAT score is higher than mine, and I was accepted in 1 day. You'll be fine.

PSAT score has little, if any weight in admissions. It's mainly based on SAT score and class ranking.

Your SAT is fine, but your GPA seems a little low. If you're in the top 50% of your class, I'd say you're in for sure.

i would say u have a very good chance

your gpa is the only thing that should cause the least bit of hesitance...but you're still most likely in.

Baylor had a 40% rate? I thought it was around 70 or 80!

they had over 22,000 apps this year. gettin really popular

whoa. 10 char

With a 222 you will in all liklihood be a national merit finalist. So to the person who said that PSAT score doesnt matter, it matters if it's high enough to be a national merit finalist. To answer the original question, not only will you get into Baylor, you will have free tuition (a nice bonus they give to national merit finalists).

Not only that but with your score you should get at the very least the provost scholarship. Check the web site for actual criteria. My son got a 1260 sat, but his hs doent rank due to size, and he got in easily and got the provost. Just remember Batylor does rolling admissions, so if thats where you really want o go apply in Oct or so. My son was accepetd in Nov but didnt commit until march. But earlier you apply more lilely to be accepted if qualified because of less competition. Good Luck.

You have nice stats, but it's kind of late to be applying to Baylor University. You might be wait listed. I declined my acceptance, so maybe you'll have an even greater chance.

im a junior in hs
