Hi,
I've to choose between Texas Tech, University of South Florida and Illinois Institute of Technology, and I'm having a tough time deciding. I'll be studying Engineering (Computer Science). I've got almost full scholarship in all three universities.

Which one should I attend?

Thanks.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

All three have ABET accredited programs in Engineering (but Computer Science is not often accredited, nor does it need to be). You have to think about the other aspects of the schools if they all give you an equivalent financial deal. I cannot tell you about Texas Tech or South Florida but being a professor at Illinois Tech, I can answer your questions about my institution. if you have not visited us, we are located in the city of Chicago, about 5 miles due South of the Loop. There are two elevated train lines going through campus so you can get to anywhere in the city easily (all students have a UPass which gives unlimited access to Chicago’s public transportation). IIT is much smaller than the other two universities and class sizes are probably significantly smaller. If you want specific information about IIT, just PM me.

Ultimately, the choice of a university is a very personal one that needs to include all factors: finances, program quality, and fit, among others. Good Luck!
