Textbooks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To get a head start, I called my college bookstore to ask what books will be utilized next semester for the classes I will be taking. They indicated that they were not allowed to tell student what books will be used...fearing that students would buy online. What should I do and is that even ethical? Should I complain? I paying all my college expenses out of my pocket.

search for course syllabi on your school's website... or email your professors

kunfuzed101,

do you know where I can buy some pencils???

it's so darn hard to find that info...any help is greatly appreciated

Does your school website have an online bookstore? Usually 1 week before the quarter starts you can check what books you need for each class. It is meant so that you pay for it online and pick it up from the school bookstore without waiting in line...except you can just check the title of the book and order from another website for cheaper.

Sometimes a college will have an online bookstore. See if the class was offered this (fall) semester and then get the isbn!

I usually e-mail the teachers or get in contact with them before the semester starts
