Textbooks

wow i already got a reply from one of my professors

You shouldn't buy textbooks yet unless you're sure that's the class you want to take. A lot of people end up switching stuff, and some realize a class might not be for them when they originally thought about it.

Don't jump the gun. There will be plenty of time during the first month of school to get organized with textbooks.

i just bought 3 of my 4 books online...
i'm pretty sure about my math and chem class
but not sure about the others
if i bought my book online, can i sell it to UCD's bookstore?

anyone know which book is used for workload writing?
i know it's called exploring language but anyone know the authors or details?

It's up on siscast.

A Writer's Reference by Diana Hacker
Steps to Writing Well by Jean Wyrick
Exploring Language (11th Edition) by Gary Goshgarian

Anyone know the textbook(s) for general psychology?

thanks himerus!
i haven't gotten any email notices from siscast
but i'll definitely go look
and do we need ALL three books for workload english?

yeah...I think all three books are required according to siscast.

If you guys could hold off on buying textbooks now, there's also the Book Exchange. (bookexchange.ucdavis.edu), which starts (for people buying books) on the 26th. I've gotten some pretty awesome deals there.
