Thank you to Admissions Daniel

As a parent of a rising senior, I want to thank you for your informative, insightful posts that bring a sense of reality and humor to the admissions process. It is incredibly helpful to hear the real side of the admissions process. You definitely add a friendly face to JHU, which is something that's lacking on many of the boards for other colleges.

I realize you must feel a frustration at times because of the inane posts on this board, but keep up the good work. We really appreciate your input here.

Susan,

Thank you so much for your kind words. I am glad that my posts have been helpful. My goal in posting on College Confidential (and in having my own Admissions blog) was to bring clarity to a lot of issues about JHU and the Admissions process or as you say "a sense of reality." At times my weak attempts at humor seep through, and also at times my frustration becomes evident. But overall I am glad that there are people out there who appreciate my work -- and it always is nice to hear it!!!

Best of luck this coming year!

Cheers,
Daniel

As a parent of freshmen I second Blackeyedsusan and extend our thanks.
We were looking and counting on Danieladmission's valuable advise. I hope I will meet you when we visit JHU in September.

rajan - Thanks. I am glad to hear that the CC parents like me.

I paraphrase Sally Field: "You like me, you really like me."
