Has anyone gone to the admissions office to thank the adcoms the day of getting their decision? I'm tempted to do that if I get accepted ED.

Same sentiment here. I applied ed to brown, which is abt am hour from where I live (only bad thing about Brown IMO) so if I get in I may do just that. I was just wondering if anyone else felt like it.

I’m sure a lot of people who get the fat envelope feel that way.

But if you actually did that, you would be in their way. They still have a lot of work to do. They have a huge volume of regular-decision applications to get through.

I would say do it when you’re there visiting during prefrosh weekend or whatever Cornell calls it, that would be a lot more memorable.

If you get in, that is. Good luck!
