Thanking your interviewer

So I just realized all of my friends who got interviews wrote thank-you emails afterwards...I didn't even know people did that LOL.

I didn't, and Penn decision comes out in 3 days so it seems weird to email my interviewer now...and my interview happened like three weeks ago too so yea.

Any thoughts?

^I mean, it’s not going to affect your admission decision at all (especially at this point). I personally wouldn’t given how long ago the interview was.

Don’t worry about it. Just a good thing to know for future reference.

I actually asked for my interviewer’s address/business card and sent him an actual thank you note through the mail… I thought it was a bit more personal :P

And, for future reference, handwritten notes are the way to go for thank-you notes, not emails. It’s a nice polite thing to do, but won’t affect your admission decision. At this point, you may want to consider sending a note thanking the interviewer AFTER admission decisions are made.

My interviewer and I have been in touch since our interview, but not very recently. He’ll the be first person (excluding people who see my decision with me) to know Penn’s decision about me.
